About Quincy

Meet Quincy! This is one sweet little boy!! Quincy is nearing 4 months old and is a mix of Maltese and Poodle with something else mixed in. The young girl that we acquired him from decided she didn't have the time to spend with him because of work and school so decided to give him up. She said she saw the parents and that the Dad was a Maltese and the Mom was a Poodle/Maltese and something else. He is non-shedding, his fur is soft and he would be considered hypoallergenic. His fur is white with lovely butterscotch ears and a butterscotch stripe down his back. He is about 7 pounds and without seeing the parents it would be hard to say his exact size but he will more than likely be between 12 and 15 pounds. He is in private foster care with large dogs and small as well as cats. His very first day he was so shut down we thought it would take him awhile to adjust. The very next morning everyone was his best friend and kisses were non-stop! He is a VERY smart little guy. Learned that his new name was Quincy in less than a day and already takes himself outside to do his business. As he is a puppy sometimes he forgets so training needs to continue but he is doing great! His adoption fee includes his neuter (per the terms of our adoption agreement), his current vaccinations, rabies, microchip, collar and leash. An adoption fee does apply. As we pre-screen via email only please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in your home, where your pet will stay when you are at work or away from home and where your pet will sleep. We will happily place him with children and other pets. As he is a Maltese/ Poodle mix he will require grooming to keep from getting knotted and matted. Please also make sure everyone is on board with having a puppy and the time and commitment it takes to continue training. Please note we are not affiliated with any other rescue.
