About Rose

I will be covering the listed donation fee to Rescue Me to support other animals in need. Rose is a 3 year old Catahoula who is a very loving and energetic companion. She weighs 50 lbs, but she is stronger than most dogs twice her size. She has lived comfortably inside all of her life and she loves to go on long walks and run off leash in fenced in areas. She has a little bit of an alpha complex and will compete with other female dogs for your attention, but we recently completed a 6 week training course that has help her with obeying basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, lay down), loose leash walking, being comfortable around other dog and people, and greeting people politely by sitting. She still needs a little work with jumping when she is excited and with realizing her own strength. The only reason that we are searching for a new home for Rose is because we are getting married this winter and my fiancee is highly allergic to Rose's dander. We hope to find Rose a new home that can provide her with everything she needs for a long and fulfilling life.
