About Jake

Welcome Jake. Jake is featured through CCPAL rescue as a courtesy post. He is a 4-year-old Brussels Griffon/Schnauzer mix or a Schnauzer Poodle mix is our best guess. He is a low riding Terrier mixed breed. He weighs about 23 pounds and he has nice soft low to no shedding fur. He has not been groomed and looks this way naturally. He holds his business inside and is good with all people. He has been around a 7-year-old girl in his foster home and did great. He will need a wooden privacy as he can climb a chain type fence. Despite being in the terrier family he is not a big barker. He can bark but is not at all excessive. He spends time in a grooming salon and while others are all carried away barking he is just the observer. He has an adorable underbite so his lower teeth show most the time. His gets along with most dogs but he could easily be adopted and be the only dog. He does great in a crate and loves his donut bed. He is decent on a leash and doesn't jump up much that I observed. He is ok with cats but he will chase them. That isn't always fun for his feline friends. He is up on his shots, healthy, neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or transported to the East or the West Coast. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185.
