About Toto

Toto Me oh my...heard that his little boy was dropped off at the overnight Crates, at a shelter...and let me tell you, ITS THEIR LOSS! (and maybe they know that and fell into a hardship). He is a FANTASTIC boy, who allowed the groomer to primp him and get the knots out with no fuss. He wasn't neutered, but will be by the time he is adopted out. GREAT personality...loves everyone he comes in contact with. Not a barker, and goes potty outside. Other dogs are not an issue, infact he enjoys them. The cats don't phase him either. He came with Cauliflower ears..both of them. (Cauliflower ear is an irreversible condition that occurs when the external portion of the ear is hit and develops a blood clot or other collection of fluid under the perichondrium. This separates the cartilage from the overlying perichondrium that supplies its nutrients, causing it to die and resulting in the formation of fibrous tissue in the overlying skin. As a result, the outer ear becomes permanently swollen and deformed, resembling a cauliflower). We think he is adorable, regardless. He really likes to lay on the couch with foster mom, and snuggle. He is 5 yrs old and weighs in at 12 lbs. Toto resembles the famous Toto...so we thought it fit him, and he deserves to have a famous name. He has longer, wire type hair, and once he got groomed, his colors in his fur looked so bright and vibrant. He has eyes that see through you as to be thanking you for caring for him. (look at these pictures..I am not kiddin).. If you want a good car rider, and a nice walker...and a companion that is sure to make you happy, check out this handsome boy. The vet thinks he is a doxie (dachshund) and Yorkie mix. (is that a dorkie? LOL) He has been neutered, de-wormed, DHPP shot, Rabies shot and Micro-chipped.
