About Baby Blanca

Dalmatian / Jack Russell
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Blanca is from a small litter of beautful pups of about five months old. She is a sweet and timid thing, not having been socialized with anything but her dog family since birth (their mama who looked like a Dachshund/Jack Russell mix and their papa who looked like a Dalmatian/Beagle mix). But - this girl has come leaps and bounds in trusting people and knowing people can be just as great as dogs can. Blanca is a beauty with so much potential and Dalmatian spots all over to boot! She has made great strides in trusting the touch of people, especially with around other dogs that love people. She is a submissive and cautious girl, but she is very smart. She will need time to come around completely. She would be best in a home where her people are willing to be patient and encourage every breakthrough she makes. She loves dogs but should not be given unlimited access to them. She should learn from them but get her affection from humans. She believes cats are a little scary and, if anything, it would only take a swat or two on the nose for her to figure out who's the boss. Kids over five years should be fine, and she may even seek them out over adults. To the family that is willing to give her time and human attention that was lacking from birth until now they will be getting an amazing addition to the family that will reveal itself in stages. Could Blanca be the dog for you? If your answer is yes, please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - to read about how to start the process. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
