About Ace

Ace needs a mommy. He's made as much progress as we feel will be possible in a kennel environment. He will come to us for affection now and has learned that playing tug is the best thing ever. It's been a blessing to watch him learn to trust again. He wouldn't take a treat from our hands when he first arrived and he didn't know how to play or be petted. We guess Ace to be about 5 years old. He's a Boston Terrier mix that weighs a little over 25 pounds. He's housebroken, walks well on a leash, fully vaccinated, neutered, & HW neg. Ace would do best in a quiet home with either a fenced yard or a parent committed to taking him on regular walks. He's not a dog-park kind of guy. And he'd prefer to wait at home while you go to parties & family reunions. Too much activity spooks the little man still. He'd be okay with a larger, mellow fur sibling that's not threatening but no cats or tiny dogs or other small animals - like squirrels. He thinks those are evil!
