Please no judgement or unkind words. This has been a long and hard decision that I have to make and I am trying to responsibly rehome my pet. Niko is a 2 year old sweet energetic boy that I rescued 18 months ago. He is crate trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. He get's along with my 2 other small breed dogs and my young children, ages 4 and 7. Unfortunately, he has an anxious personality and destroys his beds, the other dogs beds, and any furniture in sight. For this reason, I have made the difficult decision to rehome him in hopes that another owner will have better success in discourgaging this destructive behavior. I have tried various behavior training methods and hired a professional trainer with no success. As a result, I have to crate him inside most of the day while I am at work so he does not destroy my home. This is unfair for him as he see's my other dogs free roaming throughout the house during the day. And although I have a secured yard with a high fence, having him outside with out supervision is not an option due to coyote's in my area.
