About Hildy

Hildy is a 60 pound 3/4 German Shepherd and 1/4 Belgian Malinois. She is 14 months old and is a loving family dog. Recently, Hildy has began showing some intense dog aggression, mostly focused around resource guarding. We have two other dogs and yesterday Hildy violently attacked our very small terrier. Hildy has never, ever shown any aggression whatsoever toward humans, including our poking and prodding 8-year old son. Hildy loves to be part of our human pack and sleeps indoors at night and loves to be outside during most days. She loves outdoor activities and playing fetch. Hildy would be a fantastic family dog for a single dog family. Hildy is often very affectionate and loves to snuggle at night and in the mornings. Unfortunately, she is just not good with other animals and can be dangerous for them. We are working with a rescue group to help screen potential adopters as we really want to give her the best chance of finding a happy permanent home.
