About Elsa

Adoption Fee: $175
Beagle mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Evenin' friends, I'm Elsa, your new roommate! See, my owner got sick and had to go live in a nursing home, so I'm couch surfing right now. I sure do miss him and it's getting pretty stressful hauling my suitcases around. I've got short legs and no thumbs, so it hasn't been easy. I can't help you clean bathrooms or dust furniture, but I'm great at giving instructions and providing structured break times (basically, put the cleaning stuff down and love on me). Things have been pretty rough, but I remain hopeful that I will find my real forever family soon. Hey, maybe you could sign a lease with me? So I've completed extensive roommate training and I think you'll be super impressed. I am leash trained and house trained and thanks to my glowing personality, I can accommodate a diverse population including cats, older (or calmer) kids, and other dogs! I'm also a very calm, quiet dog. So basically, I'll listen to Wu Tang Clan, but it will be at a reasonable volume during daylight hours. Tell me that's not quality roommate material! Finally, I'm very affectionate so when your football team loses or your boyfriend breaks up with you, you can count on me to binge eat Ben and Jerry's and cry with you. I'd also be a great workout buddy since I love going on walks. If you are looking for a respectful, minimum effort roommate who is happy going on afternoon walks or making long snoozles together on the couch, you are looking for me, Elsa! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. For more information and to apply to adopt, please visit www.augustadogadoptions.org If you google our address, you will be directed to Richmond. That is NOT our adoption event location. If you have questions, please message us on Facebook.
