About Beans

Six months ago, in the middle of the night, a family friend found this doggo wandering the streets of Old Louisville. Our friend could not give him even temporary shelter, so we volunteered to take him during the search for his family. He wasn't chipped, so we tried other efforts to find his family. Time went by, and though we were having no luck with family-finding, we came to love his sweet self. More time went by, still no family, so we got him neutered and up to date on his shots. We helped him practice getting to know a couple of dogs, we introduced him to a couple of small children, we taught him how to sit and lay down, and most of all, we snuggled. This dog LOVES to snuggle. He is master at finding and nestling into the coziest spot in any room. He loves kisses. He makes great eye contact with everyone. He loves putting his front paws into new friends' laps and snuggling his face into their tummies. He is funny and has a sense of humor. He loves to romp and play and smell the roses. He really needs a consistent schedule. We are still hoping that someone out there is looking for a runty 2-year-old, coffee-colored pittie. He isn't immediately friendly with other cats and dogs but he learns quickly. He's a goofball and a sweetheart and very good boy who needs a very good home.
