About Hamilton is very sweet

Hamilton is a wonderful little dog with a happy upbeat personality. He was taken to a high kill shelter by his owners who discarded him like trash. They said they never bothered to name him, which tells you a lot about them. This loving little dog deserved better! We were able to save him just in the nick of time, and now he's in one of our best foster homes and thriving. Hamilton is only 3 yrs old and weighs about 10 lbs. He loves his foster siblings, is very well behaved, house trained and quiet. He doesn't have any destructive habits like digging or chewing. When we first rescued Hamilton, he had a wobbly gait and a large benign mass in his groin. When we had him neutered, it was removed which improved his walk tremendously. We also took him to a neurologist for a full work up. Like all dogs with long backs, he needs to be cautious about jumping on and off things. Hamilton would love to have someone who works from home or is retired. He is great with all dogs he meets, and loves to play with foster siblings, but would also do well as an only dog. Hamilton is a treasure and joy to have in the home. He is very loving, devoted and smart.
