Joe was a tethered dog. He was tethered in the back yard with other tethered dogs. One would think that Joe might have issues or hold a grudge over his experience but he doesn't. He's a sweet doll baby. He's so gentle. He doesn't know anything about toys and he flinches just a little if you throw a ball. He never knows if he is in trouble or not. But if you give him attention he absolutely melts into you. He craves affection. He's excellent on the leash because he doesn't want you to leave him. He seems really good with other dogs too.
