About Krypto

Krypto had a great time showing off all his tricks at our adoption event this weekend. This boy is one of the most treat motivated dogs, and SMARTEST boys, we've met yet! Krypto is a 2 and a half year old husky mix who is an endless ball of energy. He loves playing fetch and he loves tug of war!!! Krypto came to us because unfortunately, he doesnt like to share his food, toys, or attention with other dogs, and even after extensive training, there were daily dog fights occurring in his home. Krypto needs to be an only dog! Unfortunately, Krypto has a very high prey drive, so he doesn't get along with cats either. What Krypto DOES love, are kids ages 6 and up!! A busy household with an active family would be ideal for Krypto, as long as there are no other pets living in the home. Krypto also never outgrew his chewing phase, so he needs to be crated when not being watched. His favorite hat trick is eating socks and underwear! ��%A4�(Krypto does love his crate though, and doesnt mind being in it while his humans are away from home.) This handsome devil is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and potty trained. Krypto is an escape artist, so for his safety, a 6 foot privacy fence (no chain link) will be required! Krypto is being fostered in northern Suffolk Virginia. Previous experience with the husky breed is required for adoption.
