About Mulan

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $175 if picked up in TN, $225 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Introducing Mulan, the sweetest, cuddliest black velvet hippo you will ever meet! This mature, well-mannered 5 year old Shar Pei / Lab mix is a big fan of giving sloppy kisses and snuggling on the couch. Even though she weighs 62lbs she will convince you that she is a lap dog. She loves to press her soft snout under your hand and remind you to keep petting her. Mulan came into a local shelter as a stray, and was suffering from two painful eye conditions and a hernia. Despite a less than ideal start in life she has been nothing but gentle and loving. Mulan is crate trained, seems to be housetrained, and walks nicely on a leash. She knows how to sit for treats and is eager to learn more - especially if there is food involved! Mulan pays no mind to other dogs and cats and is focused on her humans. She does like to play with other dogs briefly, and enjoys a good chew bone and squeaky toys. Mulan is also more than eager to help patrol the yard for squirrels.
