About Poo-Bear

Hello! My name is Poo-Bear. I'm a male fur-baby who is part Chihuahua and a lot Dachshund. I am what some might refer to as a 'Chi-Weenie'. Yes�'�| a true designer dog. I'm am only 2 years old and I weigh 10.5 lbs. I am white in color. I came to Puppy Pals Rescue when a rescue friend contacted them about me and two friends (Honey and Whitey) who were in a shelter. They arranged a transport for us to Beavercreek, Ohio, where I'm being fostered. Upon my arrival into PPR, I was taken to the Vet's office and had all my shots updated and was heartworm and fecal tested (results negative). I was neutered and micro-chipped. The neuter procedure wasn't too bad, but I hated the 'cone of shame'! I get along with the other dogs here, but sometimes I really like it when I have one-on-one time with my foster mom. We like to snuggle and I like to lie on the back of the couch with my chin on her shoulder. I might just like to be the only dog? Then again, I love to run after the other dogs here. My foster mom is trying to break me of a habit which I REALLY enjoy - I just love to get a box of tissues or her favorite magazine and rip them up into tiny pieces. My friend, Whitey, told me about how much fun it is - we both got in trouble and had to do time outs. I'm not doing it much anymore. I am working on my leash/house/crate training. I'm wearing a belly-band currently when in the house. I will need additional house-training. I enjoy playing with toys and being outside in the fenced-in back yard. A fence is a must for me. I would not be a good fit for apartment living. I would be a good companion for a single person or a family who has children over 6 years old who are familiar with small breed dogs. No dog likes to be smacked, have ears pulled or be stepped on. If you have other dogs, I would like to meet them to see if we are compatible. I currently sleep in my crate, so if you work, I am used to spending time in it. Honestly, I'm one of the sweetest guys you will ever meet. I'm ready to be your forever buddy.
