6 month old pure bred Miniature Pincher, housebroken, friendly, healthy, eats well, very agile, knows 'sit' and 'a walk' and 'paw'. He was found on the street and dropped off at a Vet's office with no name. Probably snuck out the door in a flash before anyone realized he was gone with no collar and no micro chip. We've only had him a short time but other than being anxious adjusting to his new foster home, he seems to have no bad behavioral issues. He is very smart, and very agile and silently slips through the smallest crack in the door, or fence and almost seems to climb (once on the kitchen table). He jumps high, runs fast and is strong for his 10 lbs. Wouldn't trust him loose in the yard without a tether. Needs more leash training as he zig zags, intent on investigating everything. Would probably love agility training, as we almost named him Houdini. Prefers the human bed to the crate. Likes to cuddle. He is a very active, alert dog and probably not good with little children as something catches his attention and he runs after it. Doesn't like being left home alone. Maybe he'll outgrow that since he's still a puppy, but for now needs someone at home alot. Previous Min-Pin owners who understand the tendencies of this breed are probably best. Home visit required so near Chicago is helpful.
