About Ziggy

Meet Ziggy Ziggy is a super cute three month old hound mix. Ziggy and his sister Zelda were surrendered to Animal Control because their owners had too many dogs. For a three month old puppy AC is no place to be. So we scooped Ziggy and Zelda up and brought them to our shelter on October 6. Ziggy is as cute as a button with his piercing black eyes, reddish coat and white blaze down his nose. Ziggy loves meeting people. His tail is constantly wagging in the hopes that someone will come play with him and Zelda. Life is all fun and games for a puppy and Ziggy has a zest for life. He's super solid and has good puppy confidence and energy. Ziggy is a charmer and definitely worth meeting. He doesn't need to stay with Zelda, but they are quite a pair if you have the heart and home for both of them. Come meet our Ziggy. You'll be glad you did. Ziggy is current on age appropriate puppy vaccinations. Call 706-865-4135 for information on additional health services provided as part of the adoption fee. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet, a call to landlord if renting and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. Those who are not in a nearby community will have a virtual home visit. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4. We're closed Mondays.
