About Nelson

Nelson is a 2 year old, gold and white Shih Tzu. He is a Neutered Male, about 15lbs and is a recent rescue from NYC-ACC. His shelter assessment noted that he has some issues around food and toys. He takes a little whilw to warm up to new people. A volunteer that spent time with him stated that he appears house trained and after a few minutes and a treat, he was happy to curl up in her lap to be petted. He spends most of his time gathering up toys to pile in his bed or to just carry around. An experienced, patient, adult home where he can decompress, warm up and become comfortable would be best.
