About Princess

Princess is an 11 year old (will be 12 in December) mini dachshund. I have had Princess since she was 6 weeks old and I am very attached to her, as she is to me. Unfortunately I travel 80% of the time for work and while I travel my daughter watches her - but my daughter is leaving for the Navy in November. As Princess gets older she becomes upset when I travel, and with my daughter leaving for the Navy, it's unfair for Princess to only see me 2 days a week since I travel so much. Although Princess lived many years with my Bulldog who passed away last year, she prefers to be a single family dog, but will do fine with another dog if properly introduced. Princess has been spoiled her whole life (sleeps in the bed, is allowed on the furniture, pretty much gets all my attention), so it's important she go to a loving family who will treat her as the 'favorite child'. Princess gets nervous around young children as they tend to bounce around and grab a lot, so it's preferred that she go to a family with older children.
