SPECIAL NEEDS Pierre 3-5 years old Male (Neutered) IS NOT GOOD WITH KIDS IS NOT GOOD WITH BIG DOGS IS NOT GOOD WITH HYPER DOGS GOOD WITH SMALL DOGS GOOD WITH CALM DOGS FINE WITH CATS GOOD WITH WOMEN Pierre came to us in 2016 from obviously not a very nice place, he has extreme anxiety and fear of most men. He LOVES cuddles and sleeping under the blankets, he does best if he has a create of his own to hide in when he's scared and or anxious about something or someone. Pierre LOVES car rides. Pierre does not really play with toys but he loves treats. Pierre would do best in a home with experienced owners and another small/calm dog as a companion, it seems to ease his anxiety some. He has very few teeth, but he can eat hard kibble, which he seems to prefer over the soft food. We've been working on him wearing his collar which is come along way but we can't seem to break him into walking or even being on a leash, again it makes him very anxious. He's house broken as long as he's taken out (of course lol like all dogs) Pierre came from a home with no fenced yard so he stays with you but he is known to roam down the road a bit, but doesn't make a run for it. I really really hate to have to post this, it breaks my heart just thinking about having to let him go but he needs someone who has the time and the proper resources and knowledge to help him live a full and truly happy life. He did bite my 1 year old under the eye, it was just a scratch but I understand where my husband is coming from when he said he had to go. He's currently on peroxide & water ear rinses every 24hrs, 5mg of benedryl every 12hrs, and .5cc of Minocycline every 12hrs and then to every 24hrs after 3 days..for an ear infection, he scratched himself, nothing horrible. He has a problem with his right eye where it just needs to be rinsed at least once a day sometimes less often. I'll include a 'list' of mandatory things to be considered the right fit. It maybe a long process depending on how he takes to you, again he does best with women who are calming, once he knows he's safe he is a goofball and has such a big personality. adoption: Fee of $100 (cover me for cost of Neuter *12-3-2016) 1.
