About Bagheera & Shere Khan

Bagheera (the black cat) is brothers with Shere Khan (the orange cat) and they're both inside cats. We took them in after being told they would be comfortable with our dog and six year old son. Unfortunately, they aren't comfortable with kids or dogs it seems - they have been skiddish until everyone is in bed, avoid our dog, and run from our son. Out of the two, Bagheera is the more independent but is very sweet and gentle. He loves to play with strings and ribbon, though his aim could use some work! Shere Khan is the lover of the two, and he likes to snuggle under your chin; he's also the more natural hunter. Both he and his brother were declawed by their past owner so there's no issue with scratching. They also would be great motivators to putting the laptop away as they love to sit on the keyboard. If Bagheera feels he's not getting enough attention, he'll gentle grab your finger in his mouth and pull you over. Shere Khan will just make sure you're covered in kitty love. Both love to snuggle with you as you sleep, with Shere Khan next to your face and Bagheera usually at the foot of the bed. They're good cats. They just need a calmer home and they'll thrive. They come with a cat tower, any remaining cat food and treats, catnip, one litter box, a few boxes of litter, toys, collars, leashes (we'd hoped to train them to go on walks), a litter genie, and a cat bed.
