About Courtney

Courtney is an adorable 2 year old cairn terrier who was saved from the Humane Society and is now looking for the perfect, patient, loving forever family. Courtney is a special gal who will need a very special family, but will make a very loving and loyal best friend for her lucky new people. Courtney is very shy when meeting new people and takes a while to come around. She will need a gentle and loving family who will show her unconditional love but allow Courtney to come around and show affection on her own terms. Courtney likes gentle pets and affection from those she trusts, but does not like to be picked up. Courtney loves to play with toys and loves other dogs! Courtney will need a home with a gentle canine companion who can show her how to play and trust without bossing her around. Courtney will need a calm home environment with no children, or gentle mature older children who understand when Courtney needs space and quiet. Courtney may take some time to adjust to the simple things in her life like going out in her new back yard, and will possibly need some house training after her time in a shelter. Courtney would love to meet her new family a couple times to be familiar with them before going to her new home. Courtney weighs about 7 pounds full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $220.
