About Mikey

Meet Mikey! This boy is about 1 1/2 years old and is a smaller size mix of maybe spaniel/chi? But he is super cute! He will need a special type of home due to he has a few things that will need to continue to be worked on. When Mikey first came to Danate Rescue he was scared of everyone! He wouldnt bite but would try to get away to a safe place. He also has separation anxiety and panics very badly in a kennel. We have been working on these issues and he has gotten so much better! He will now come up to people for attention! It takes him a minute and he does better if they ignore him and let him come to them. He panics if left alone in a house and will try to find a way out to find his person . He will bark like crazy when left but quickly settles down. He still does not to well in a kennel but is fine when out of the kennel. Mikey would do awesome in a home that someone is home all the time or someone that can always take him with them. He would also make a great esa dog. He is house trained and does great with other dogs! He is a total love that has no clue what personal space is! And talk about loves to cuddle!
