About Lily Claire

Lily Claire is a beautiful blue tortie short hair female approx. 6mo. Her adoption fee is $75. She has been vet checked and spayed. She seems cautious at first with other cats (expected) and hasn't met a dog (or coyote) that we know of. She has an amazing forgiving personality and a good sense of trust after she has adjusted. I would say she will be good with nice cats, dogs, older kids. Sadly most areas on the outskirts of town aka the desert, are places that the sick and cruel people of the world dump helpless animals. Eileen has been feeding, trapping and picking parts off the road in her area for 25 years. It never stops. Unfortunately these outside animals bring the hungry wild ones in. She has seen 100's of coyote and even a bobcat. Its free lunch�'�|and that's why pet cats belong INSIDE ONLY! PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! While resupplying her feeding stations Eileen sees this tiny kitten just sitting in the rocks of the wash. She pulled over praying 'please don't run, please don't run'. She got out and the cat didn't run, she walked closer and the cat didn't run. She shook the bag of food and the cat ran�'�|toward her climbing up her pant leg to get to the food! She had gnawing on dried up coyote poop :(((( What a love this little kitten is and soo thankful to be saved. She should never have been put through this! She just wants to be with people and is a big purr machine. She is gentle, easy going. She plays, she talks, she loves naps on your lap and doesn't mind being held. Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids. Dry foods that help maintain UTI health are Hills, Royal Canine and Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment!
