About Nemo

Meet Nemo! Nemo is a 1-year-old, 45 lb, chow/lab mix who was born and spent his first year in a non-kill dog friendly shelter. Nemo is now with Project Hope in a foster home learning the basics like potty training (doing well) and crate training (also doing well). He gets along with other dogs of all sizes and ages; however, he is a little rambunctious at first but settles down with positive correction. Nemo is timid, so he will need a family who is experienced with socializing dogs. A fenced yard is required for Nemo. He is leash trained. Nemo is very loving once he gets to know you - it just takes a little time (hours, not days). Cat compatibility is unknown. Nemo is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and on heartworm/tick/flea preventatives. Nemo's adoption fee is $250.
