About Maia

Maia is a sweet 2 yr old Great Dane that found herself in rescue after she'd broken her tail & after amputation it was wrapped too tight & became infected & the skin became necrotic. Unfortunately she needed it amputated even more. So she has a tiny nub tail. Even through all of the pain & discomfort, everyone that she met couldn't stop talking about how sweet she is. She's recovered & ready for a family of her own. She has some separation anxiety so she'd love a home where someone is home with her most of the time. She can be trusted left home alone. She does sleep in her crate at night. She's good with other dogs. Great with cats. She loves kids & is gentle around the little ones. She will need continued work on leash walking. She's very smart. Knows sit, down & state. Very food motivated. Doesn't get on furniture without permission. She's spayed & UTD on vaccines & preventatives.
