Duke is a two-year 10 month old Great Dane mixed who is neutered. He is a relatively calm dog for his age, but loves playing ball and having toys in his mouth. He is strong on a lead and likes to chase lizards. He's a little apprehensive in new environments, but does well around people. He is curious about other dogs, and is currently being fostered with two large dogs and gets along with them. I am not sure about small dogs. I do not think he gets along with cats. Duke would be good in a home that has older children, because of his size and the fact that he has not been raised around small children. Duke was surrendered by a homeless couple, mother and son, who were trying to change their life and were unable to take Duke with them. Duke has been doing well in a structured home environment. He is currently located in Ontario, Ca.
