Adoption Fee: $150
Rat Terrier / Australian Cattle Dog

Angel. The name fits her well. She was found locked inside a 6x6 shed with no food or water. She had been there awhile with no love, no nutrition, no place to lay down, only a dirt floor. Held captive by a fugitive, the police found her while searching for him. the police called the county animal control, they called me to come get her and help her. I have done just that. She is vetted and has gained her weight back, most of her hair has grown back, and she has begun to understand human kindness and love. This dog is amazing! Sadest eyes you have ever seen, but she truly appreciates every single pet, hug, treat, bowl of food etc.She is UTD on her shots, has been dewormed, had her first bath and several others since then. She even is doing great on the house trained stuff too. She is so very sweet and forgiving. She weighs about 22 pounds and stands just under knee high. She is quiet, and has learned to be inside, use a potty pad and she even has been going out when prompted to do so and using the bathroom after she goes out : ) She is an older girl, senior, and her front teeth are worn down I suppose trying to escape her hostage situation, but she is a fantastic dog and so very much deserves to be extra loved for her remainder of time. She is HW positive sadly. We have just finished the slow treatment plan on her and placed her on Advantage multi which she will need on the first day of every month until death. She is good with most other animals, and friends with our chicken. She will chase the cat, but does not try to harm. Many have tried to guess her breed mix....it really is a hard to tell thing with her. We have just guessed. So her breed mix may not be accurate. I think there are several breeds inside this one, but still, she is so very cute, and does great on a leash and in public. She went shopping with us just yesterday and did very well. Got lots of pets and attention. She ate it up! There were many pets inside the pet store...she liked them all except one...she did growl a bit at that specific one, but I also noticed another dog also growled at that (one).? Out of all the dogs I have helped, I can't think of one who deserves a happy ending more than this one does.
