Hi, we're looking to re-home our collie/retriever mix. Her name is Honey. She's about 40 lbs, spayed and has good health overall (that we are aware of). She's between 7-8 years old but we've only had her for about 3 years. Activity level: She's very active, LOVES walks. And does pretty well off leash. She's house broken and will let you know when she needs to go out. She's been left inside by herself and does great, she just sleeps and relaxes. Temperament: She's an incredibly sweet dog once she's gained trust in someone. She's never bitten anyone or attacked any other dogs, but she's nipped at our other dog when he plays too rough with children. Kind of like a motherly instinct. She's very shy around new people. She takes a little longer to warm up to men, but eventually she does. She doesn't seem to mind kids (doesn't like nor dislike) but we have a 1-year old and she does fine with him. But she would be happiest as the only dog in the household. Before we got our second dog she was PERFECT. As soon as we got the second dog, she now barks constantly, digs, and escapes our yard roaming the neighborhood. She gets along fine with our other dog, but she just has these extra behavioral issues now. We rent in a small HOA and are receiving multiple complaints. Unfortunately we have become less active ourselves and now have a 1-year old so we just don't have the time or motivation to work with her while continuing to risk losing our current living situation. I'm asking $50 re-homing fee and that's including her leash and collar and food bowl. She's spayed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all shots/licensing. I'd love to see her go to someone who is active or can at least just give her a good amount of attention, and has a decent sized yard or property for her to roam on. Thank you. -Haley
