About Ryder loves to cuddle

Ryder is a very sweet little Shih Tzu boy who nearly lost his life in a high kill shelter. Ryder had gotten lost from his family, and patiently waited for them to save him. No one ever came. When we heard about Ryder's situation, he had nearly run out of time. We were able to get a volunteer out to rescue him just in time. We found an incredibly well behaved and loving little dog, but he was in fairly bad shape. He had a skin infection, ear and eye infections, and dry eyes. All of these are common for his breed and easily treated by our vet. He has an incredible foster mom that is taking excellent care of him. Ryder also had a 'cherry eye' which means that his tear gland needed to be tucked down by the eye specialist. We took him to the vet Ophthalmologist, and now Ryder is doing well. He will need eye drops from the rest of his life, but they are relatively inexpensive and he's good about taking them. Ryder is a happy and devoted little dog that would love to cuddle by your side. He is very smart, house trained and gets along well with other dogs. Ryder is curious and has a cute entertaining personality. He will bring a lot of joy into any home. Ryder is great with everyone he meets and doesn't have any destructive behaviors like chewing, digging or barking. We had him groomed, neutered, fully vaccinated including rabies, and microchipped.
