About Nova

Surrendering my Husky Let me start by saying I love this dog and if I could keep her I would. This is Nova she is a 1 year 7 month old pure breed Siberian Husky, her markings are known as 'dirty face'. That means her genetics are very closely related to a wolf. She is the closest you could get to owning a wolf without owning a wolf. All her natural instincts are there, and here in lies the problem. She can NOT live with any small animals (10lb or less), she has killed 5 small animals (2 chickens, 1 duck, 2 rabbits). On the up side she is a sweetheart, she will love you and even snuggle. She is GREAT with kids of all ages, leash trained, not food aggressive, house broken, loves car rides, and has basic training. She's one of those talking Huskies, she isn't afraid to speak her mind. I love her to death and started training her to be my service dog (emotional therapy), she has taken well to her training. With the farm life we live we can't keep her if she's going to be killing our livestock. She would do well in a family home setting, with other large dogs, and a large fenced in yard. No small animals of any kind. I don't have her paperwork, you can trace her lineage and I can get you in contact with the breeder I got her from. She has had all her first rounds of shots. She will need her next soon, and she needs to be fixed. Thank you for your time, Gabby
