About Ana

Adoption Fee: $25
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

(I chose Incontinent as a health issue because what she has is not shown: Ana gets bladder stones, and the surgery to fix them is far too expensive for us to pay, unfortunately. Will clarify if contacted!) Ana is five years old, turning six in the beginning of 2019. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has her claws. She is a very, very lovable cat when she gets used to people, although she growls or hisses at unfamiliar people who get to close. When she goes to the vet, however, she is very sweet, so we're not really sure what exactly it is that upsets her. She is incredibly cuddly to the people she lives with, curling on your lap, stomach, feet, in your arms, or wherever she can. She's very talkative; if you make a cat noise back at her when she meows, she can keep up a pretty long conversation! Ana lives with four dogs (who she tolerates if left alone) and one male cat, who she is nice to most of the time. She's a bit of a brat, though! She likes to take his spot by swatting at him (he's declawed). She hasn't been with any other cats since before she was adopted as a 2 month old kitten. She likes to sleep on top of the couch, stairs, or under beds. Ana's bladder stones cause her to urinate in the house, because she can't get to her cat box comfortably. There is a surgery for her, but with so many other animals we cannot afford it. It breaks my heart to have to give her up, as she is really a one-of-a-kind cat.
