Howdy, y'all! One-eyed wonder Pistol Pete here. I was picked up running and when the shelter scanned me, my chip said I belonged to a rescue no longer in business. I can be a handful (then again, can't every Jack?), so guess where I ended up? Yep, here at old Georgia JRT University! I'm looking for a new home where I can share my antics forever. Oops, did I say antics? Well, you know ��%BD'��%BD| I admit, I'm a scrappy, little dude who is always looking for trouble ��%BD'��%BD| but 'good' trouble ��%BD'��%BD| and in a good way ��%BD'��%BD| you know, the Jack way. At least, that's what my rescue peeps say - and they're right! Overall, I'm a good (and funny! don't forget funny!) boy. I get along with other dogs, but I really like to be boss. I would definitely pick on a 'weaker' dog, if our person didn't know how to handle us. If you have other dogs, you must be experienced in knowing how to handle dogs like me. And, if you don't have any other dogs, then I'm absolutely fabulous! I'm great at commands, can sit and stay like a pro, and learn quickly. As you can see, I'm down to one eye, so I can sometimes easily spook and possibly snap if you approach my blind side without warning. That said, a home with small children would not be feasible. Older children may be OK, as long as they understand how to handle me. We don't want anyone to get hurt. I would, however, be perfect for an older, experienced person/couple who is active and knows the nature of Jacks. I love to stay active, I love toys, and I would love to be an agility dog. Can you imagine the attention I'd get? (wink ��%BD'��%BD| well, wink) I'm about 7 years old and a perfect 14-15 lbs, heartwood negative and UTD on all my shots.
