About Troup (ME)

Troup is a wonderfully energetic and playful Catahoula mix that loves everyone he meets. His bicolored eyes reflect his kind spirit. He is looking for a home that allows him to exercise alot, that provides him with plenty of toys and unconditional love which he will surely return! Troup promises that he will learn your rules quickly and that he will listen when you call! He loves being with people and nothing is more important to him than home! If you are interested in adopting Troup please email [email protected] and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Troup's adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
