About Lucie

HI everyone! My name is lucie. Nice to meet you! My foster mom is making me type this which is very difficult because not only do I not have thumbs but I have very big feet which makes it even harder to type! I am a female American mastiff. I am a bit over one year old now. I am spayed, updated on all my shots, tested negative for heartworms, treated for fleas, ticks and internal parasites. I am also on heartworm prevention and I will be microchipped prior to leaving here. Ok, now all that boring stuff is out of the way I can tell you about me and the fun stuff. I LOVE everyone I meet. Kids and ALL people. I am very gentle with humans. Dogs and other small animals I don't care too much for. I didn't exactly have a very good upbringing sadly, and I have been moved around a lot in my short life so far. So a home without other animals is a must at this time for me. I am playful, I love to be cuddled with too! In fact, I really enjoy sitting on my people. That's what us big dogs are supposed to do right?? I know how to sit so far and I walk well on the leash. I'm working currently on some other commands like lay down, stay etc yup more boring information. I love car rides and do excellent in the car. Although I tend to want to be in people's laps. My foster mom tells me I can't drive. That's ok, I think she can drive with me on her lap though!! I am a stunning brindle color. Everyone that meets me comments on just how beautiful I am. My foster mom says they need to be careful or my head will get bigger. I don't know what she means by that, but if my head was bigger I would look silly so that's a concern for me. I definitely need to walk so if my head was bigger I may tip over. I do not at all like to be crated. I have high anxiety in small spaces. I can chew through a wire kennel in moments. I think that's talent my foster mom says it's bad. She may be right but let's not tell her she is. Her head may get bigger. Now that would be funny!! I am house trained for the most part but occasionally have accidents. My foster mom tells me it's nothing more then behavioral why I do this. Again, she's right but seriously don't tell her !! I didn't tell my foster mom I think it's stupid to have someone fill out anything to just meet me. But I have to follow rules while I'm here I suppose. Oh, last thing, I LOVE FOOD ! now that is a rule for anyone that meets me to bring treats and food. Oh, my foster mom just yelled at me for putting that in here about food. She's making me correct it by saying if people want to bring food they can.... she's not looking right now ...BRING FOOD!! hope to meet some food soon, Oops people soon! Love, Lucie
