She really wants to play with other dogs but just can't figure out how to do so. She can be a bit of a bully and what often starts out as play abruptly changes to a fight, without evident cause. We've worked with a trainer to try to overcome this, but unfortunately, we've concluded that she would do best in a home with her people and no other animals. She truly adores people, adults and children alike. She loves to sit at your feet for some scratches and a belly rub. Lily loves spending time outside, playing with puzzle toys, chewing on delicious bully sticks and snuggling with her people at the end of a long day. She does excellent in her crate overnight and when no one is home. When she's tired at bedtime, she even finds her own way to her crate! She sleeps through the night and is fully house broken. She understands basic commands but we're still working on manners when it comes to jumping on guests and walking nicely on a leash. More of her training was focused on being less reactive to other dogs while walking on the leash rather than the leash skills themselves, so there is more work to be done there. She is eager to learn, especially when she gets to earn yummy treats! She'll melt your heart if you give her a chance!
