About TANK

Courtesy Posting: Please help find a home or rescue for this young happy Lab/Chow mix named 'Tank' who is both dog and people friendly. He was unfortunately dumped on this lady's (Ruth's) doorstep by someone she did not know who apparently became homeless and then abandoned the poor dog. The situation has already been reported to animal services, and Ruth was kind enough to hold the dog at her home during the stray hold, so he would not have to go to a shelter. She cannot keep this dog because her own dog, who is a senior, is very jealous and is trying to bite him. However, Tank is fine with her dog, as well as with others. Tank is approximately 67 lbs, approximately 2 years old. Ruth was told he is a chow/lab mix because he has some pigmentation on his tongue, but it is unclear if he has any chow or just another spitz breed that is mixed with lab or shepherd possibly. He has a beautiful shiny coat and curly thick tail. We need to help find a good home or rescue ASAP so he does not end up in the shelter after all. Ruth cannot hold him indefinitely.
