About Mowgli

Mowgli is a 2 1/2 year old Black and Tan Coonhound/Doberman mix (~40 pounds). He is great with adults and kids and most dogs. His favorite things to do are relax on his bed at home surrounded by loved ones or be out in nature using his nose. He is house trained, pretty good with basic commands, and a quick learner. Sadly, we have to re-home him because our work schedules and a NYC apartment are not for him. His only struggle is around separation anxiety, but with the right owner, right home, right family, he could be a perfect family dog. He will need support in learning to be left alone, but if he's with other dogs or is in a more rural setting, he could do really well. We're devastated to have to find a new spot for him and really wish we could have made our apartment work. The adoption fee is a way to show you are willing to make the commitment to take in our little man, but we will donate the fee to a local shelter.
