About Cowboy

'LOVEBUG' COWBOY NEEDS A NEW HOME! Cowboy is an amazing 65 lb., 2 yr. and 10 month old lovebug. He is an absolute gem - gentle, loving, playful and ready to be your best friend forever. Cowboy was with the same family since he was born, but a conflict with the family's older dog over a food bowl prompted them to surrender Cowboy to a kill shelter. I rescued him from the shelter at the end of August and he is competing with my 12 year old Jack Russell, Quinn, for attention. Cowboy is also sharing the home with 4 cats, who he has begun to chase. For the sake of Cowboy's happiness, and the safety of the cats in the small household, I've made the painful decision to try to find Cowboy a new home where he won't have to compete for the love of his parent. Cowboy is a PRIZE! He is the sweetest, cuddliest dog, but he would be best in a home as an only dog, or with calm, respectful dogs his size, and no cats! He's a real angel - a prince - a mush cake ready to give a new family a TON of love.
