About Teddy Bear

Teddy Bear is a very sweet boy. He is an 8-year-old, 10-lb, brown/grey Poodle mix. He gets along well with the other dogs in the house. He is quiet until he wants something and then he will let you know. He is very friendly and affectionate but not a cuddler. He is longer than he is tall (may be mixed with Dachshund?) so he needs to be picked up properly. We use doggy steps next to the sofa for him to get on the sofa easily. Teddy is not house-trained. He always wears a belly band in the house... he doesn't mind waiting when he comes in from outside to have it put on him. When we leave, we always crate Teddy...he goes to his crate easily. When Puppy Pals Rescue received Teddy, he was very thin. He eats approximately �%BE cup kibble twice a day. He was running in the back yard and injured his back. He will need to have his back treated carefully. Because he is a Poodle mix, he will need professional grooming several times a year. Teddy is a super sweet guy who will make a great companion to a lucky family.
