About Ralphie

My family adopted this dog from the human society about 6 months ago. He is a wonderful dog, and amazing with my 6 year old. He has issues with my dog I already had, they fight a lot, my other dog is very anxious - he has bit him twice to make him bleed. I also have not been able to house train him. He is does not like being created and will bang his body over and over against the cage. When I isolated him to an area he will tear up furniture in that area. I think with time and someone who can be very consistent he could be house broken - he lived in a hoarders home for his first probably 8 months before I adopted him. The humane society let us know that some hoarder dogs do not learn to be house broken. We have really tried to make things work with Ralphie. He really is the sweetest dog. His main issue with my other dog is around food - he tries to eat the other dogs food. I think if someone has more time to work with him he could resolve some of these issues, and maybe just a one dog house, although Ralphie really likes my other dog.
