About ROXY

URGENT RESCUE NEEDED FOR ROXY PLEASE HELP ROXY FROM GOING INTO the Greensboro, County ANIMAL SHELTER. Roxy is very smart and will be loyal to her owner. She is approximately 10-11 yrs old (65lbs). She's in good health and needs the opportunity to exercise daily or have access to a good sixe back yard. Roxy is house trained and VERY obedient. She is UTD on yearly exams, all vaccines, neutered and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She is an indoor dog but loves being outdoors, walking, hiking and basically most outdoors activities. She enjoys fetching sticks, balls, ect. She still has a great youthful sprit when it's playtime. Roxy is a great dog! She does well with kids and does ok with other dogs as long as they are calm. However, she gets really uncomfortable when hyper dogs invade her space. Honestly, I feel as though Roxy would thrive in a single dog home for she loves the attention from her caretaker! She is NOT the type of dog that needs to sit on your lap or constantly be in your face; although, like most dogs, she likes to lie close to you when you're in the same room. If you live alone, she would make sure you never felt lonely. She is a great guard dog and is always on alert. She would be a great low maintenance companion for someone who needs protection. Because Roxy's owners health condition is diminishing and as her temporary caretaker, I am willing to drive a good way to give her the home that she deserves! Adoption fee includes leash harness, new dog bed, flea/tick & heart-worm prevention for 6 months, new bag of dog food & favorite snacks for 3 months and her stainless food & water bowls.
