About Lilly

My name is Lily. I am a 1 year and 7 month old Aussie/BC mix (Australian Shepherd and Border Collie). I was rescued by Australian Shepherds Furever, a 501c3 non profit rescue organization so I did not have to go to a shelter. I am living with my foster parents with a human sister and two Australian Shepherd sisters until I find a forever home. I am as smart and fun loving as my Aussie sisters. My foster papa says I am a A+ student in training... I have lots of fun learning and playing here. I had to leave my first home, because I was nipping at very young children. My foster papa says, it is very normal for my breed to do, but I needed to learn not to do that with human children any more. My foster mom say I am real fun to walk with (I walk loose leash), run and play with. I love playing games when ever some one come up with an idea! ... my short coming? .. I was nipping. Papa spent a lot of time changing that to kissing and I am doing very well. My foster parents want to find someone who will keep on training me because they says I am a 'high performance learner' who can pretty much learn to do anything. My foster parents want me to find a home where my Aussie sister Riley and I can visit each other, if possible. Three of us (my foster sister Aussies) are always playing, but I don't have to have doggie siblings, because I get attached to a my humans very closely (my Australian Shepherd side). I am good with cats. Because I used to herd children, my foster papa say, I need a house without small children, but older teens who know how to treat puppies right would be fine. Papa says I should try to find a home who has had a herding breed dog before and I think that's a great idea. Would you like to come see me?
