About Dot

Dot is available for adoption. She is being fostered in Vero Beach, FL (Indian River County). Dot is an approx. 2 1/2 year old, 40 lb. Border Collie mix with many great qualities! Dot came into the rescue with no manners and being unsure of herself. She is now a well balanced dog. Dot has a good energy level - not over the top but also still fun & playful. She is good with all other dogs and has nice manners. She likes to play with dogs in her foster house and would do best with another playful (but not hyperactive) dog in the home. Probably no on cats as she has some prey drive. Dot is good with well-behaved children but it would probably be best for the children to be a little older. Some of Dot's all-time FAVS are her morning walks; snacking on apples, watermelon, strawberries; chasing lizards, and water!! She especially likes to drink water from the sprinklers run in the rain or sprinklers! She is housebroken, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, heartworm-free and just an all-around great dog!
