About Cooper

Weimaraner / German Shorthaired Pointer
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Cooper is a lovely boy who became homeless when his (original and only) mom & dad divorced. Mom wanted to take him but her living situation has a strict 'no pets' policy so he's currently being boarded at a doggy daycare facility near Seattle, WA. Although Cooper is great with most all dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments and generally a happy, high-spirited dog, he's not doing well at the facility simply because there are so many different dogs and people coming and going all the time and it's proving to be too stressful on him. He needs a structured, stable lower-energy (i.e. 'normal / traditional') home environment with a person or family who will give him love, attention, quality snuggle time, and provide play and exercise opportunities together. Cooper can become anxious and will bark and pace if left alone for too long or when around strong, Alpha dogs but otherwise, he's a wonderful, loyal, well-mannered dog and still has LOTS of spunk in him for his age. He would be fine living with 1-2 other dogs (cats unknown) or being a 'one dog' home. GREAT companion for a senior or retired/semi-retired person! NOTE: Cooper is not currently living with me but I have met him and am helping the busy daycare find a suitable home for him so all inquiries will go through me first. Adoption fee: Negotiable and payable to the daycare facility as a donation for the care they've been providing him :-)
