About Remy

My wife and I adopted our dog Remy in July 2015 after rescuing him as a stray. At the time, we believe he was a bit under a year old, which makes him about 4 years old. He is some mixture of Boxer/Mastiff/Pit Bull, but we don't know his exact makeup. Remy is an incredible dog, very kind and obedient, healthy, a bit dopey, and very good with other dogs and people in general. He does have a lot of energy during his active hours and we have struggled with teaching him the concept of personal space. He has never been aggressive or bitten. My wife and I have recently had our first child. In preparation, we have been working with a behavioral expert for the past 2+ years. Unfortunately, although we have made great strides, we are still concerned about his high energy and potential unpredictability around children (he has had minor exposure to children in the past and hasn't shown any aggression). This has led my wife and me to the heartbreaking decision that Remy would be better off in a different home. Please let me know if you are interested in meeting Remy.
