Yup - I'm a cat (a very pretty one, if I say so myself). My name is Gracie (formerly called Pooh) and the great volunteers at MomsVA are trying to find me a home. I showed up on the back lot of a construction company in Powhatan and a very nice person was caring for me while I lived there. After months of bad weather and freezing temperatures someone took me home to foster. Finally someone noticed that some bigger bad cats were bullying me. I want to be a spoiled indoor kitty again. I'm around 6 or 7 years young and I really like people. I will come when you call me and let you cuddle and scratch me; I love being combed regularly. I will sit in your lap for as long as you will sit with me. I love sitting on the cat tree my foster mom bought me and look out the window, but once I got indoors I refuse to go out again; just carry me to the door and I will scramble to get back in. I never want to be outside again. I want to find a forever home where I can be indoors always and part of a family. I've had a rough past and am timid around dogs and even fearful of other cats. I'm up to date on all my vaccinations and spayed. I'm ready to find my forever person and/or family. If you welcome me into your home, I will welcome you into my heart.
