About Delightful Mr Desi

Hi there, my name's Desperado but all my friends here call me 'Dez' and you should too 'cause everyone is MY friend ! I'm an almost 18 month old neutered male 'take a guess' blend who likely has some Lab, Doberman and maybe even a smidgen of Amstaff genes mingled around in here somewhere... but I'm a super HAPPY, very GENTLE guy that's never met a stranger on two OR four legs ~ BRIGHT and CHEERFUL is what I'm all about! Some people might consider me just another 'plain Joe mixed breed kinda dog' but my rescue friends assure me that MY personality truly SHINES ! Hey folks, life is GOOD these days and that's something I truly appreciate! A little bird told Mare how very much I wanna find a nice family who will love me and be my fur-ever family home! She assures me that everyone seems to be impressed with my manners AND easy going demeanor, but I find it easy to behave since I thrive on the pawsitive praise one receives for doing so! I'm sooooo HAPPY ~ ALL the time ~ that I even gave myself 'happy tail,' and condition caused by busting the tip of my tail into crates and fences when wagging it so much, but we've got that all cleared up now, lol. I enjoy ALL my friends at our multi dog indoor foster home and am SUPER NICE to everyone I meet! I absolutely ADORE children, get along GREAT with other dogs and I loooooove to please my people. Mare treats me special, saying I'm so DARLING, such a GOOD boy and GREAT friend to my new BFF playmate Ruby T ! And I'd do anything Mare asks for all those extra hugs and kisses ~ I just looooooove to cuddle!!! I've heard that laps are for sissies though so I'll put my head on your leg or lean into your arms for a big hug, and it's really cool to just lay at your feet and entertain myself with one of my favorite bones. I'm completely house, crate, car and even leash trained ~ putting my head through the loop and walking nicely on lead to go out for another adventure! I'm allowed to sleep in a nice bed without a crate for nap times 'cause I've never had an accident. I'd really like to live the family lifestyle with a special person(s) of my very own, humans who'll love me, teach me new things and maybe even take me to classes where I can show off MY talents ~ I promise to shower YOU with love and a life time of devotion in return!
