This little lady is so lovely. I stopped by the Downey HIGH KILL shelter and she caught my eye. Looks to be a full Dachshund. She's so sweet and so sad to be here. She's listed as 13 years old but looks like she still has a lot of love to give. I wish I had taken a photo of her darling face! This is the one the shelter provides. As the other dogs were barking, she was shaking near the back fence. She was trying to put her nose through and definitely needed some love and comfort. I hope someone can rescue her soon!
