About Maxi

Maxi is a miniature Australian Shepherd purchased from a reputable breeder in Oklahoma. She is not registered but could have been. She was the runt of the litter. She is small for her breed. She is very affectionate and, as is normal for the breed, very energetic! She is crate trained and spayed. She has been raised with another, much larger dog. She is a digger and will dig out of ANY fence, so she should be an indoor pet. We love her but we are retired and she needs a lot more attention and playtime than we can give her anymore -- and her energy level isn't declining as quickly as ours! ���%8D She loves children but is very excited around them, at first, so we recommend older kids. She loves our grandchildren but overwhelms the 2 and 3 year olds. If you're used to mini Aussies she may be for you!
